Dr. Kahil Andrews, M.D., Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Kahlil Andrews, a board certified plastic surgeon located in Coralville, Iowa, is one of few practices offering the ThermiVa treatment, a new nonsurgical approach to vaginal tightening. This painless procedure allows you to achieve your vaginal rejuvenation goals without the uncomfortable recovery and downtime associated with surgery.
Dr. Andrews has a history of success and medical credentials from top-ranked universities in the United States. He studied Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley and went on to attend medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, a top 5 ranked medical university.
Having graduated from medical school in the top 10 percent of his class, Dr. Andrews matched at the Johns Hopkins Hospital General Surgery Residency Program and performed a Resident Research Fellowship at the Department of Surgical Oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he also earned his MBA. Dr. Andrews wished to combine his love for art and science with a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, and did so at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Such strong credentials would be nothing to Dr. Andrews without the satisfaction of his patients. He is known for the specialized care he gives and for treating each of his patients like family. He knew that finding the right staff was imperative to delivering the quality of care that patient’s should expect.
Courtney Albritton, MPA, PA-C joined the practice in 2015. She has extensive knowledge in women’s health after practicing in OB-GYN for more than 7 years and understands the concerns that affect many females. “Courtney is a great addition to our team,” said Kahlil Andrews, MD. “Her broad range of skills is the perfect fit and necessary to create the professional results we expect”.
Albritton studied Biological Sciences and Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wisconsin before assisting the Department of Defense with military processing physicals and receiving the Civilian of the Year Award. She then pursued graduate school at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California where she was the Vice-President of her class and received the Leadership Award. Her studies in Women’s health led her to Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2006 where she later joined an OB-GYN practice as a provider and developed her love of aesthetic medicine as clinical director of a medical spa.

Courtney Albritton, former medical spa clinical director for more than 7 years, is experienced in facial aesthetics with botulinum toxin therapies (Botox®, Xeomin®), volumizing and dermal fillers injections (Restylane®, Radiesse®, Belotero Balance®, JuveDerm ® XC/Ultra/Ultra Plus and JuveDerm Voluma®). She is certified in laser technologies and body contouring and very knowledgeable in skin disorders and treatments.

Albritton will directly administer the ThermiVa procedure, assist with surgical procedures, help patients with pre- and post-operative care, and consult with breast reconstruction patients, as well as perform clinical cosmetic procedures, along with injectable services.
Albritton is a member of the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants, Association of the Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, an affiliate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She authored and published articles for Health and Wellness Magazine, and was Outstanding Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Nominee for 2014 Annual Provider Award last year at Mercy Medical Center.
